These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, courses, course bundles, digital products, educational materials, and services offered by Lisa Habash, doing business as Accounting Rescue ("Accounting Rescue," "we," "us," or "our").

Our website is located at accountingrescue.thinkific.com.

Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing, accessing, or using any Accounting Rescue product or service.

By creating an account, selecting an "I agree" checkbox, making a purchase, enrolling in a course, accessing course materials, or otherwise using Accounting Rescue services after these Terms are presented to you, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or access Accounting Rescue products or services.

1. Accounting Rescue Services

Accounting Rescue provides educational content primarily related to accounting and related business topics.

Products and services may include, without limitation:

Specific products, prices, included materials, payment terms, and access periods are described on the applicable sales page, product page, or checkout page at the time of purchase.

2. Educational and Supplemental Purpose

Accounting Rescue products are provided solely for educational and supplemental learning purposes.

Accounting Rescue is intended to help students strengthen their understanding of accounting concepts.

Accounting Rescue products:

You remain responsible for following all policies, deadlines, instructions, accounting methods, academic-integrity requirements, and other requirements established by your own school, professor, textbook, or academic program.

3. No Guarantee of Passing or Academic Results

Accounting Rescue is committed to providing clear instruction, educational resources, and opportunities for practice. However, purchasing, accessing, or completing an Accounting Rescue product does not guarantee any particular academic, educational, professional, financial, or career outcome.

Accounting Rescue does not guarantee that you will:

Your results depend on many factors outside Accounting Rescue's control, including your effort, participation, attendance, study habits, completion of practice materials, prior knowledge, course requirements, professor expectations, examination performance, and individual circumstances.

You remain responsible for your academic decisions, coursework, assignment submissions, examination preparation, and academic results.

Examples, reviews, testimonials, or statements regarding another student's experience do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.

4. No Professional Advice

Accounting Rescue content provides general educational information.

Nothing contained in an Accounting Rescue course, workbook, website, video, social-media post, email, example, practice problem, answer key, or other resource constitutes individualized:

Examples and practice problems are instructional and should not be relied upon when making actual personal, professional, business, tax, legal, accounting, financial, or investment decisions.

Although Accounting Rescue content may be created or taught by an individual who holds professional accounting credentials or has teaching experience, your use of Accounting Rescue does not create an accountant-client, CPA-client, advisor-client, fiduciary, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.

Consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding your individual circumstances.

5. Differences Between Accounting Rescue and Your Academic Course

Accounting curricula, textbooks, terminology, course sequencing, assignment formats, accounting treatments, professor expectations, and institutional requirements may vary.

Accounting Rescue teaches concepts using the framework, assumptions, and terminology identified in the applicable materials.

Your professor, textbook, school, jurisdiction, or academic program may use different:

You remain responsible for following the requirements of your own school and professor.

If Accounting Rescue materials differ from instructions provided by your professor or institution, you should follow your professor's or institution's requirements for purposes of your academic course.

6. Course Materials

Accounting Rescue products may include:

Course materials may be modified, corrected, replaced, reorganized, expanded, or updated when reasonably necessary to improve clarity, correct errors, maintain accuracy, or improve the educational experience.

7. Account Registration and Security

You may be required to create an account to purchase or access Accounting Rescue products.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

Each account and purchase is intended for use by one individual student unless a particular offer expressly states otherwise.

You are responsible for:

You may not share, sell, lend, rent, transfer, or otherwise provide your login credentials or course access to another person.

Accounting Rescue may suspend or terminate access if it reasonably believes an account is being shared, misused, fraudulently accessed, or used in violation of these Terms.

8. Individual Course Access

Unless a different access period is expressly stated on the applicable sales or checkout page, access to an individually purchased Accounting Rescue course is provided for 150 days beginning on the date of purchase or enrollment.

You are responsible for completing the course and downloading any materials specifically designated as downloadable before your access period expires.

Course access is subject to:

Expiration of an individual course's 150-day access period does not create a right to a refund or extension.

9. Bundle Purchases and Lifetime Access

Unless a particular offer expressly states otherwise, Accounting Rescue course bundles include lifetime access.

For purposes of these Terms, "lifetime access" means access for the commercially reasonable lifetime of the applicable Accounting Rescue product or Accounting Rescue's ability to continue providing that product.

Lifetime access does not mean that:

Accounting Rescue may migrate courses to another platform, replace technology providers, reorganize course materials, update lessons, or change the technical method through which products are delivered.

Reasonable changes to the organization, format, technology, or delivery method of a lifetime-access product do not constitute termination of lifetime access.

10. Payments

Payment is due according to the price and payment terms displayed at checkout.

By completing a purchase, you authorize Accounting Rescue and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the amount presented at checkout, including any applicable taxes.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.

Payments may be processed through Thinkific or third-party payment processors. Accounting Rescue generally does not directly receive or store complete credit- or debit-card numbers.

Prices may change at any time. A future change in price does not alter the amount charged for a purchase that has already been completed.

11. Payment Plans

If Accounting Rescue offers a payment plan, you agree to pay all installments according to the payment schedule presented at checkout.

A payment plan divides the total purchase price into multiple payments. It is not a subscription that may be canceled simply because you stop accessing, participating in, or using the purchased product.

Stopping course participation, failing to complete a course, or no longer wanting the product does not eliminate any outstanding payment-plan obligation.

If a scheduled installment is declined, disputed, reversed, or remains unpaid, Accounting Rescue may:

You remain responsible for unpaid installments in accordance with the purchase terms presented at checkout and applicable law.

12. All Sales Are Final

All Accounting Rescue purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or Accounting Rescue expressly offers a refund in writing for a particular purchase.

Because Accounting Rescue products provide access to digital educational content and may include immediately accessible or downloadable materials, we do not otherwise provide refunds for:

Your purchase provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Accounting Rescue materials for your own individual educational purposes.

Your purchase does not transfer ownership of any course, workbook, question bank, video, answer key, explanation, or other Accounting Rescue intellectual property to you.

Unless you receive prior written permission from Accounting Rescue, you may not:

You may download and print materials specifically designated as downloadable for your own personal educational use.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

Access may be restricted or terminated for conduct that materially violates these requirements.

23. Suspension or Termination of Access

Accounting Rescue may suspend or terminate access if it reasonably believes that you have materially violated these Terms.

Examples include:

Where permitted by law, termination resulting from your violation of these Terms does not entitle you to a refund.

Provisions concerning intellectual property, prohibited uses, outstanding payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and other provisions that reasonably should survive termination will remain effective.

24. Trademarks and Branding

Accounting Rescue, together with associated branding, logos, product names, slogans, graphics, and design elements, may constitute trademarks, service marks, or trade dress owned by Lisa Habash.

Nothing in these Terms gives you permission to use Accounting Rescue branding for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.

25. Reviews, Feedback, and Testimonials

If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, comment, suggestion, or other feedback, you represent that it reflects your genuine experience and does not violate another person's rights.

Accounting Rescue will obtain any permission required by applicable law before publicly using personally identifying information, photographs, names, or likenesses in promotional materials.

Accounting Rescue may use non-confidential feedback to improve its courses, services, and educational materials.
